Michal Reinštein

Michal Reinštein received the Ing. (M.Sc.) and Ph.D. degrees in engineering of Aircraft Information and Control Systems from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague (CTU), in 2007 and 2011, respectively. He is currently working as researcher at the Center for Machine Perception, Dept. of Cybernetics, CTU. His research interests concern state estimation and machine learning for data fusion in robotic systems, such as unmanned ground and aerial vehicles, intended for Urban Search & Rescue (USAR). After the internship at the Artificial Intelligence Lab (prof. R. Pfeifer), University of Zurich in 2009, he also focuses his research efforts towards exploring sensory-motor interaction and locomotion control in artificial cognitive systems, especially legged and skid-steer robots.
